CATS Porto Hostel is a lively hostel located in central Porto, just 50 m from the metro and S. Bento train station. The 3 buildings of the property are in the heart of the city, next to the city’s Sé Cathedral, a protected World Heritage Site.
The hostel has brightly decorated rooms for all kinds of travellers and groups. All the rooms are equipped with a private bathroom, air conditioning, free WiFi and each bed comes with a reading light, an individual power socket, a fan and an electronic locker.
Breakfast is served daily at the bar area and there is a shared kitchen where guests can prepare their meals. The spacious rooftop terrace provides a unique atmosphere where guests can relax and enjoy a drink.
The Ribeira area, the Clérigos Tower and Lello Bookstore are a 10-minute walk away. Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport, easily accessible via metro, is a 44-minute trip away.

Hi, We'd like to reserve the family room. We will arrive to Porto at about 1AM, can we check in at night?

Yes, no problem, our reception is open 24/7. Any questions do not hesitate to ask. :)

Yes, we do have. We offer daytime activities as free walking tours, porto wine tours, surf classes, or tapas tours. In the evening, you can enjoy our daily happy hour at the bar or join our tematic nights or special parties before join the pubcrawl.

Do you offer luggage storage?

Yes, we do. We have a luggage room where you can store your stuff before check in time or once you check out.

Are sheets and towels included?

Sheets are included but renting a towel has a cost of 3 euros. Please note that private rooms have towels included in the price.

Do I need a lock for the lockers?

No, you don't need it. The lockers that are underneath every bed in the dormitories are electronic. So the key you get when you check in at the hostel opens the room door and your personal locker. Please note that we will ask you for 5 euros security depo

fun but avoid the annex
Great social vibe !! Good bed with charger, light, fan.
Avoid an annex room if want to socialise… felt a little isolated there. Charging for luggage storage is a little cheeky since it’s already not the cheapest hostel (even though it is just 2 euros).

Very Good
The kitchen is very well equipped. The common areas are great. It's great for meeting people, and ideal for solo travelers.
It's very busy, so it maybe you're looking for peace and quiet, this is not the place.

Wonderful
Very nice location around the most important touristic points. Beds are comfy, you have a personal light on your bed with two sockets (EU standard) to charge your phone.
It's a hostel, so privacy is not much what you would expect. The cabinet under your bed where you keep your luggage opens from the upper side (not the front), so you have to pull it from under the bed, which can wake up other hostages. Bathroom could also use some table or shelf to keep your clothes while you shower. I had to put mine on top of the toilet bowl.
